What started as curiosity has grown into my personal mission to support horse owners. After growing up competing in the hunter/jumpers, eventing, and dressage, my path gradually shifted toward the management side of the equine world. While completing my Bachelor of Science in Equine Management, I was offered a position as the Stable Manager at a local facility. That role gave me firsthand experience navigating the many challenges and pressures that come with feeding and caring for horses. When my time there concluded, I dove headfirst into becoming an Equine Nutrition Advisor.
Today, with experience ranging from managing equine obesity to supporting horses with Cushing’s/PPID, insulin dysregulation, and off-the-track Thoroughbreds, I provide both local on‑site services and virtual consultations nationwide. When we work together, we look at every little thing that could impact your horse and their nutritional well being. I also encourage, and even prefer, to collaborate with your equine veterinarian and barn manager to ensure a complete, well‑rounded approach.
Fifth Avenue Equine is named after my own mare, affectionally called "V". Looking back on our journey together, I see the mistakes that I made with V's nutrition, and wish that I had had someone better versed to help me.
I want to be that someone for you. Let me help turn confusion into confidence so that you can spend more time enjoying your horse.
